All you need to run posBoss is an iPad. This will allow you to take orders and view sales reports. You can also connect to extras, like printers, or our Paperless kitchen order screen (+£39/month), payment terminal and cash drawers.

Hardware is sold separately and can be purchased online from Kestronics or from your local tech stores. If you already have hardware, we may be able to work with that - see what hardware is compatible with posBoss here.

posBoss is an iOS application and runs on an iPad. We work with all sizes from the iPad Mini to the iPad Pro ideally running iOS 16.0 or newer.

posBoss is super easy to set up, and we can have you up and running in a couple of hours. Yes, posBoss works offline. When using offline mode, all orders from the day are stored on the iPad. When the iPad is next connected to the internet, your data will be updated on the management site. But, you will need to be connected to the internet to run printers, payment terminal machines, or any of our other add-on products.

Absolutely!! We currently work with Dojo. Square and Windcave - Companies we believe provide a great level of customer service.
In the background we are working to support Stripe and Zettle payment terminals as well.
